About Tribute Communities Developments
Gary Silverberg, president of Triangle West Developments, is an anomaly on the Toronto real estate scene: he’s a developer and an acclaimed artist. Toronto-born, Silverberg has brought his artistic sensibility to Art Condos, the first project he’s headed, to create a gallery-like 11-storey condo at 44 Dovercourt Rd. in the Queen West neighbourhood . The project echoes Queen West’s funky vibe, perhaps because he also handpicked a team familiar with the area, including Oleson Worland Architects and 3rd Uncle interior designers. Silverberg embraced the neighbourhood’s artsy flavour by offering live-work units with 15-foot ceilings on the ground floor. An art gallery in the lobby will showcase work by local artists. The facade’s masonry walls, interspersed with generous expanses of glass, features repeated ceramic tile inserts.
